(iWIDK by James Sawyer) - The trial of a murderer is set to begin in Wenatchee, Washington, where a man is accused of killing a young woman.

Authorities say the killer, Christopher Scott Wilson, was obsessed with caricatures of serial killers in film and media, including the the character Hannibal Lecter and Dexter.
According to the Seattle Times, Mackenzie Cowell, 17, was found dead in 2010 strangled and stabbed.
Wilson, 31, maintains his innocence.
The television show 48 Hours has been following the story for a possible episode.
