Doctors Tell Woman She Has LUNG CANCER – Coughs Up THREE-DECADE-OLD FRUIT PIT Instead

(iWIDK By AnnaMarie Houlis) - We thought that fruit pits getting stuck inside your body is a myth, but evidently it is possible.

A Florida woman, Blanca Riveron, suffered from a nagging cough for 28 years and thought she had lung cancer, but after a second endoscopy, she coughed up a pit.

Riveron’s daughter reminded her that she swallowed a fruit pit almost three decades ago, but she did not believe that it still could have been inside her throat.

According to the Miami Herald, when doctors spotted the dark spot in her lungs, they prepared to treat her for lung cancer.

Fortunately, she spit up the pit and her coughing miraculously stopped.
