(iWIDK By Mike Finiello) – A child’s family is outraged by what they feel was an extreme over reaction by local police.

Police in Milledgeville, Georgia handcuffed and arrested Salecia Johnson, a six year old kindergardener, for throwing a temper tantrum in school.
According to News One, Johnson was ripping things from the school walls and throwing furniture – even knocking over a shelf which injured the school’s principal.
When police arrived the erratic child was subdued, arrested, and charged with simple assault and damage to public property .
Police had tried to contact Johnson’s mother, Constance Ruff, several times but were unable to reach her.
Due to the child’s age she will not be due to appear in court or sentenced. She will, however,be suspended from school until August.
